Ralphs Makes Donation to Marcia Ray Breast Center
Made possible by its “Giving Hope a Hand®” breast cancer awareness campaign, Ralphs Grocery Company recently awarded a generous $25,000 donation to Glendale Memorial Health Foundation in support of Glendale Memorial Hospital’s Marcia Ray Breast Center.
Annually, in conjunction with Breast Cancer Awareness Month in October, Ralphs stores and its key suppliers commit to raising funds in support of breast cancer programs in the communities Ralphs serves.
“The importance of this contribution from our friends at Ralphs cannot be overstated,” said Mark Meyers, president of Glendale Memorial Hospital. “Every week the Breast Center at Glendale Memorial screens and treats hundreds of women.
